Located across from some of the most impressive real estate in the country, Georgica Beach Association’s Third Jetty is surf spot that breaks under very specific conditions. The closest public access point is at the end of Beach Lane in Wainscott, East Hampton, where you must have an East Hampton Town Parking Permit to park. There are no lifeguards, but that rarely stops surfers. Occasionally, the East Hampton Town dredges the sand between Georgica Pond and Georgica’s 3rd Jetty to reduce bacteria levels in the pond.
