The beach at the Freshwater Bay boat launch is part of Freshwater Bay County Park. In addition to boating (small boats only), visitors to the park can enjoy fishing, beachcombing, crabbing, birdwatching, and picnicking. There are restrooms and picnic areas at this location. The lower picnic area, concrete launch ramp, and beach access are open all year. The upper picnic area is only open from May through September.
