This beach lies on the shores of Freshwater Bay just west of Port Angeles. In addition to boating (small boats only), visitors to the park on Freshwater Bay can enjoy fishing, beachcombing, crabbing, birdwatching, and picnicking. There are restrooms and picnic areas at this location. The lower picnic area, concrete launch ramp, and beach access are open all year. The upper picnic area is only open from May through September.
