Westfeldt Park is maintained by the Henderson County Parks and Recreation Department and the NC Wildlife Resources Department. The park features a power boat ramp, picnic tables, and ample parking. This stretch of river is popular with fisherman and boaters and offers views of the surrounding countryside.
