French Bay
Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand

French explorers first landed in New Zealand in the late 1700's with failed plans of colonizing. There influence can be found throughout the island. Titirangi hosts a few French Market with baguettes, cheese, pastries, crepes, savouries, chocolate, coffee and patés.
This beach is used mainly for boating as it is adjacent to the French Bay Yacht Club which has a large boat ramp. Beach goers are encouraged to wear shoes as there are many pacific oyster shells on the beach that can cut your feet. Ample parking is provided at the end of Valley Road and multiple public bus stops are nearby.
