Encinal Beach North
Alameda, California, United States

This beach’s name is derived from the Spanish word “oakland” and is conveniently located near the city of Alameda as well as on the San Francisco Bay. Encinal Beach is a peaceful, quiet salt water beach with limited facilities, but does offer an entrance to the San Francisco Bay Trail and a boat ramp. This beach is open year round, but is not supervised by lifeguards. Encinal is also located near Crown Memorial State Beach Park which offers many picnic grounds, fishing and seasonal parking.
