The Elora Quarry is a former limestone quarry, better known as the "old swimming hole".   It was a popular swimming spot long before it became a day-use conservation area in 1976.  Elora Quarry offers a large beach area, unmonitored swimming, tree-covered picnic space and a 1km hiking trail. The 10 m high cliffs around the quarry are stunning.  There are 2 washroom facilities and a small change room available.

There is a capacity limit, and tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival.
