East of Pleasure Pier

25th Street is the site of the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, a waterfront entertainment pier that stretches over the Gulf of Mexico. The pier has rides, attractions, food stands, a restaurant, and retail outlets. There is a paid parking lot located across from the pier. The pier runs along Seawall Boulevard and joins with Fort Crockett Seawall Park. There are many picnic areas located along the seawall and the park is most often used for fishing and picnicking.
