Attawan Beach is a private beach and fishing pier open to homeowners of the Attawan Beach Community. There are life guards on duty during the monitoring season. The population of the Niantic Community also known as East Lyme doubles in the summer months as this area is well known for it's beaches, sports fishing, marinas and boardwalk.
