Durrance Lake is situated in the valley between Mount Work and Partridge Hills in Mount Work Regional Park. The water here is clean, cool and perfect for a summer swim and sandy spots along the beach make great sunbathing areas. Although there is no boat launch, the parking site offers a spot to launch car-top boats (gas powered boats are restricted). A 3km trail circles the lake for an easy hike and washroom facilities are available.
