Devonshire Beach is considered by many to be the best beach in Alberta. Think rolling dunes and a 3km stretch of pristine beach. The beach is in a provincial park with a world class bird research and interpretive centre. The waters of Lesser Slave Lake are clear and warmer in the Summer and Slave Lake is the largest recreational lake in Alberta. The area hosts an annual sand castle and songbird festival. This is a must-visit beach for beach lovers and lovers of the great outdoors. If you need more, there is an amazing lookout of the lake at Marten Point in the PP. Photo by Michael Leonard.
