Denare Beach is located in Northern Saskatchewan on Amisk Lake along Highway 167. The name ‘Denare’ came from the first two letters of each word in the ‘Department of Natural Resources’, which was the government department that was looking after the area in the 1930s.

The lake has many recreational activities to offer, including boating, swimming, and fishing.
