Deckers Creek Gorge
Masontown, West Virginia, United States

Popularly referred to as the Deckers Creek Gorge, this section of Deckers provides access to three different waterfalls within about a quarter-mile. The area boasts several great vistas for photography, swimming in natural holes, and excellent fishing. This site has parking and picnic shelters generously provided by the Valley District Lions Club.
Important Notes: This is not a designated swimming area; swim at your own risk. Please pack up your trash and take it with you!
Directions: The Lions Club pavilion is located along Veterans Memorial Highway (Rt 7) in Masontown, West Virginia. Traveling east from Morgantown, it is located on the right side of Rt 7. There is a free gravel parking lot directly in front of the pavilions. To access Deckers Creek, you must walk down the steep and rocky hill.
Friends of Deckers Creek is a nonprofit watershed group that serves to monitor and protect Deckers Creek and its tributaries. To learn more, visit deckerscreek.org.
