Dane street beach is a public beach located in Lyons Park, overlooking Beverly Harbor and Salem’s waterfront. There is a parking lot, and ample street parking. This is a very accessible park, and the beach is located along an accessible pathway with ramp leading to the beach. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer making this beach a safe place to swim. There is a change room and toilets near the beach as well as picnic tables, and water fountains in the park. Popular activities include swimming, volleyball, soccer, and simply relaxing with family and friends.
