Dam Neck, part of Naval Air Station, Oceana, is located just south of Virginia Beach along the Atlantic Ocean. The area has just over 3 miles of sandy beach accessible for those with military id. Picnic shelters are available to rent. Alcohol is permitted on this beach and there is a store that sells beer and wine. Pets are permitted in the dog area of the beach (shared with the fishing area).
