Cultus Lake – Main Beach

Main Beach is within Cultus Lake Park, a regional park that is distinct from the nearby provincial park. Amenities include public washrooms, public swimming docks, grassy and wooded picnic areas, and campsites. There is pay parking, and street parking is restricted to residents and enforced. There is no lifeguard at this site.
A popular Lower Mainland destination, this area can be busy through the summer, so be prepared for slow traffic and crowds.
Lake activities include swimming, paddling, canoeing, fishing, sailing and water-skiing. Please note swimming buoys to protect swimmer, and note that speed limits are enforced on the lake. Please note fishing is limited to the lake only – fishing in Sweltzer Creek is prohibited.
A marina near Main Beach has canoe, boat and jet ski rentals.
Visitors can enjoy walks or bike riding around the lake, or on nearby trails, geocaching and nature viewing.
Nearby, Cultus Lake also has waterslides, a golf course, restaurants, laundromat, stores and fuel stations.

Swimmers should be aware that swimmers itch may be present in Cultus Lake. When possible, shower and/or dry one's skin as soon as possible after swimming.
