Crown Memorial State Beach features 2.5 miles of sandy coastline, bordered by lawns and picnic grounds, with a bicycle trail. Swimming is permitted year round, although there are no lifeguards on duty. A bathhouse & changing rooms are located west bound close to Washington Park.

Crown beach is tested for bacterial levels weekly from April to October and twice a month from November to March.
