Coney Island is only accessible by boat in the summer, but is just a short boat ride from downtown Kenora. Warf Marina on the Harbourfront provides shuttle boat service to and from the island, daily from 10am to 6pm. Each trip costs $10. This beach is located on the west side of Coney Island and has a playground, concession stand, public docks, a large grassy area for outdoor sports, and a shelter for picnics. Boat rentals are available for fishing trip and anglers can expect to catch a vast variety of fish species as Kenora is an excellent base to access hundreds of pristine lakes.
