Cocoa Beach is on a barrier island that is nestled between Banana River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. Stretching six miles, the area offers a range of opportunities from surfing, fishing, watching shuttle launches to observing the migratory birds and local wildlife. Cocoa Beach Recreation Complex consists of 212 acres and hosts a championship golf course, Olympic-sized pool, team sport complex, tennis courts, a community center and pavilions.
