This beach is located in Cockburn Island Reservation. The beach is a private beach and to go onto this beach you’ll need to contact the Zhiibaahaasing Band Manager at (705) 283-3963. This land is part of Zhiibaahaasing ancestry so it means a great deal to the people to know their roots. This beach is a rocky beach but has docks to collect water and to swim and fish for the people. There isn’t a safe way to drink water at this location but in the future, they may install one. At this location, they also have two port-a-potties and multiple garbage cans. This freshwater beach is located on the shores of Lake Huron. At the moment sampling in this location has been paused because of COVID-19.
