Chocolates is located at the mouth of the Anahulu River in Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu. This site is monitored every two weeks and is usually always very high in fecal indicator bacteria. The waters here are known for their powerful waves and pollution from the river. After heavy rainfall, this beach has brown water events were pollution from stormwater runoff is a risk to public health, and swimming is not advised. No lifeguards are present, beach is recommended for strong experienced swimmers only.

There is street parking on the main road, and public beach access. No facilities.

Samples are collected once every two weeks.
