Chattahoochee River @ Medlock Bridge
Norcross, Georgia, United States
There is no public access to the river at Medlock Bridge Road and there are no trails , but people do fish and boat on this part of the river. The National Park Service's Jones Bridge Unit is located a few miles downstream and has excellent public access where many people wade in the river, hike and walk their dogs.
E.coli samples are collected each week by the National Park Service. The sampling site is located at Medlock Bridge Road near the top of the 48-mile Chattahoochee National Recreation Area (CRNRA) along the Chattahoochee River.
Tests are taken weekly and results are updated to SWIM GUIDE every Friday.
