Cedar Town Beach in Mt Sinai is located off of Harbor Beach Road on the Long Island Soundside. It is a town beach for local residents or Brookhaven residents with picturesque views and is busy especially early in the morning or late at night. The beach is rocky and mixed with sand, so bring shoes, but a nice long beach for an evening's stroll. There is a fishing pier for anglers. Great place to take a dip and go tanning. If you arrive before 7am you can still usually get in. This is a Tier II beach.
