Caspersen Beach
Englewood, Florida, United States

Caspersen Beach is in the Venice Beach area that is known for good shelling and fossilized sharks teeth. Venice Beach is the main beach that people visit for these reasons but locals know that Caspersen is a more natural beach and also has the great shelling and sharks teeth of the area. The beach has a nature trail that goes through a coastal hammock, salt marshes, tidal flats, and mangroves. The beauty of this beach is the natural quality and a dune walkover allows the beach dunes to be preserved. There are no lifeguards on duty but there are picnic areas and restrooms available.
