The Cariboo Pulp and Paper (CPP) pulp mill is located in the Montane Forest region in the Interior of British Columbia where Lodgepole Pine, White Spruce and Interior Douglas Fir softwoods are the dominant species. Cariboo Pulp and Paper maintains that the regional forest is ecologically harvested to ensure a perpetual fibre supply, ecosystem function, and the maintenance of biodiversity to produce the finest grades of lumber.
