Cabot Beach is the largest beach in western PEI, it is located 16 km north of Kensington . A great beach for kids, as it has a playground and a children’s activities center. Cabot Beach has an onsite lifeguard for the beach and campgrounds, where there are washrooms, picnic areas, a laundromat for campers. On the east side of the beach, there is a lighthouse to explore. The beach has previously been the host of the Canadian Scout Jamboree and is near the Kensington Railyard and Welcome center, a historic train station and a tourist information stop.
