Brant Street Beach
Burlington, Ontario, Canada
The Brant Street Beach is at the foot of Brant St and part of Spencer Smith Park. It is a small beach with fine white sand and no lifeguard. The Brant St Pier is to the left and a sea wall stretches to the right above which is a boardwalk and promenade for walking, biking and in-line skating. It is part of the Waterfront Trail system that runs from Spencer Smith Park to Confederation Park in Hamilton. In the distance is the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge and the Beachway.
At the end of the promenade are a beautiful playground and Spencer’s, a restaurant for fine dining. There are also numerous restaurants and shops across the street. Municipal parking is limited and paid near the playground. There is a large extensive lawn with trees for picnicking or relaxing. Portable washrooms are set up near the Pier. Dogs are allowed on leash.
