Brannen Lake is a quiet campsite surrounded by mature trees near Nanaimo. Facilities include BBQ shelters, boat ramp, swimming area, washrooms, hot showers, coin-operated laundry, and playgrounds. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails. When weather permits, there is an evening hayride at 6:30 p.m., and also a pancake breakfast at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
