Bowdish Lake is a fresh water swimming site. Bowdish Lake Campground is a family campground / summertime community. Basic cable is included on site with internet access and additional stations available at an extra cost. Visitors are not encouraged and access may be restricted as the facilities are intended for registered guests only. Visitor cars must be paid for and registered and they are not allowed to bring dogs into the campground for any reason at any time.

Registered guest may bring certain breeds of dogs into the campground. Contact the campground office for a full list of barred breeds. There is also a disclaimer on the reservation request form that states "we reserve the right to require annoying pets to be taken out of the camp".

No motorcycles, bicycles or mopeds are aloud on the campground at anytime.
