Discovery Park off State Highway 21 is a roadside park with picnic tables, shelters, and opportunities for fishing in the Boise River. This section of the river is an excellent flat water area often visited by canoeists and kayakers. The Boise River is a 102-mile-long (164 km) tributary of the Snake River. Downstream from its confluence with the South Fork, the river flows generally west, and adds the major tributary of Mores Creek along Highway 21, and passes through Lucky Peak Dam to emerge from the foothills southeast of Boise.

Facilities: Parking on site, ADA restrooms, Life Jacket Loaner Station
