Bayport Beach is located in the southeast part of the Town of Islip, in Bayport. Like most of Long Island's south shore beaches, Bayport Beach is characterized by unspoiled white sand and its friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. This is a Tier I beach.

If you are looking for something more educational, you can always visit Bayport's Aerodrome Museum which is only a ten-minute drive away from the beach. This museum is dedicated to the preservation of the aerodrome as a turf airport inn with the decor of the early 1900's.
