Offering access to the Atlantic coast at the southern end of Hutchinson Island, Bathtub Public Beach is popular with scuba divers, snorkelers, windsurfers and beachcombers. Families enjoy the wading pools protected from the surf by the area’s reef. Lifeguards are on duty. Onsite amenities include river boardwalk, nature center, parking, dune crossovers, restrooms and showers.
