With wide, sandy shores, hot showers, lifeguard-protected beaches, freshwater hookup and more than 150 marina slips, Atlantique Beach is the perfect choice for weekend boaters and day trippers. Run by the town of Islip, It is an 875 foot wide strip located between the Fire Island community of Atlantique and Lonelyville. Come to the bayside for calmer waters. This family atmosphere beach has a snack bar, pump out station, handball and basketball courts, restrooms, playgrounds, and barbeque areas. The snack bar features a dining area, beer on tap, and a variety of music. It is accessible by a 20 minute ferry ride from Bay Shore or by private boat. Open year-round and no pets allowed. This is a Tier II beach.
