Aspen Beach on Gull Lake is a very popular beach for day-trippers and campers. The beach is sandy and flat, with shallow waters for bathing. The beach is easy to access from Highway 2 and the water is very typical of a Central Alberta lake. This is a long beach with a playground and other amenities including a playground, washrooms/change-rooms, and concession. Bring an umbrella as shade is at a premium. Aspen Beach Provincial Park was one of the first provinicial parks in Alberta. The beach is easy to access from the adjacent parking lot.
