If you need a good escape, the Asharoken Beach Park is a really pleasant place to be. A gorgeous shoreline and panorama and not too crowded. The beach is directly next to a Village of Northport beach. Come and enjoy fishing, whitewater paddling, boating, swimming, and golfing. There is a petting zoo at Silverman’s Farm which is near the beach. Karts Indoor Raceway offers go-karting, and the Duck Island Bluff is a fabulous sight to see. It has a paid parking lot close to the sand, which allows for easy access. Restrooms, an outdoor shower, and food trucks are available. The boat ramp is a single lane ramp for small boats only. Lifeguards are on duty from 10am-6pm, and beach hours are 8:30am-8pm during summer months. Seasonal beach passes are available to all residents for $25, and free passes available to residents age 60 and older. Daily passes for non-residents also available. This is a Tier II beach.
