Asbury Park beaches are a great place to spend a summer day. Lifeguard supervision is provided during the swimming season. A beach access fee is required to use the beach. Metered parking is available near the beach. When you're done swimming or sunbathing, be sure sure to explore Asbury Park's shops, restaurants, and art galleries.

Beach Passes or Season Badges are needed 7 days a week to access the beach during beach hours.

Beach Hours:

M-F: 9am-5pm

Weekends and Holidays: 9am-6pm

The city of Asbury park does not foresee limiting beach badges during the 2021 season

Adults: $70

Seniors (62-plus with valid ID): $20

Teens (13-17): $20

Kids 12 and under: Free (must have adult supervision)

Active military personnel and dependants: Free

4/15 to 6/13: 10AM - 4PM Daily

6/13 to Labor Day: 9AM - 5PM Daily

Sales are credit card only, no cash

Active duty military personnel, veterans

Will be admitted free of charge, must present Uniformed Services ID card or an award letter from the Department of Veteran Affairs in exchange for a free daily pass

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed on the 7th, 3rd, and 1st Avenue beaches, only on the 8th Avenue dog beach

From 5/16 to 9/14, dogs are not permitted on the boardwalk

Wheels

Bicycles are not allowed on the boardwalk from 10 a.m. to Midnight (midnight) (Ordinance 5-4.9)

Skates, rollerblades, skateboards, and scooters (except handicap vehicles) are prohibited on the boardwalk

WaterWheels

For individuals living with paralysis, 2 caregivers can pilot a wheelchair made for the beach

Can be used in 2hr time slots during the regular season when lifeguards are on duty, Memorial Day to at least Labor Day, M-F 9AM - 5PM, weekends and holidays 9AM - 6PM

For advance reservations, provide the date and 2hr time slot, and fill out the online reservation form and call or email the office

For reservations within less than 24hrs of intended use time, call and visit the office

Parking

Metered parking available on the street, also 4 paid parking lots

Rates

$1/hr M-F 5PM - 12AM, $10/day weekends and holidays from 9AM - 12AM
