The American Turner Club is situated on Clarence Avenue among a string of other private beach clubs overlooking Eastchester Bay in the Bronx, New York. It is the largest club on the strip and directly across from the scenic City Island, offering an amazing waterfront view as well as a wide range of social and physical activities. It features a full gym with numerous athletic courts, a Nautilus room, a beachview restaurant and a billiards room. There is also a snack bar for lunches on the lawn, as well as a fully stocked bar to enjoy time with other members. They also offer dart teams, aerobic classes and zumba lessons. There are two lifeguard-supervised pools, an Olympic sized pool for swimming and a wading pool for children. Children of all ages are welcome to join their swim team. Members can be found all summer relaxing and enjoying the sun on their spacious lawn. Locker rooms, beach chairs, and boat lockers are available. Outside there is a pier where boats can dock and members can enjoy swimming in the bay. Throughout the year, members enjoy special events and sports activities, including barbeques, beach parties, and karaoke nights.
