Alabama Point Public Beach, Gulf of Mexico
Orange Beach, Alabama, United States

Alabama Point may be referred to as Florida Point or simply Perdido Pass. Locals may use these terms interchangeably when discussing where Perdido Pass connects Cotton Bayou, Terry’s Cove, and Bayou Saint John to the Gulf of Mexico. This monitoring location is located at the easternmost beach access point from the Perdido Pass bridge. Parking is free but limited. A fenced pathway through the dune line allows for beach access along the Gulf of Mexico. Onsite amenities, such as restrooms, may not be available or may be temporary during busy seasons. Those looking to surf the jetties or snorkel the sandbar area may want to explore the western side of the Pass. Parking regulations are enforced, so use public lots to avoid being towed.
